At the Asian Counseling and Referral Services, or ACRS, I worked as a youth organizer and graphic designer for their Civic Engagement department. My duties and responsibilities include planning advocacy campaigns, events, and media strategies around local community issues, facilitating meetings, voter registration drives, and phone/text banks, as well as creating design assets and illustrations for their social media accounts.
One memorable project I’ve worked on for ACRS is designing their Democracy Voucher Program mailer, a piece intended to educate and inform community members in the Chinatown-International District about the importance of democracy vouchers in upcoming city elections.
